As part of our LHSSN partnership work we are very lucky to be able to offer our local schools an opportunity to learn from one of the world’s most renowned organisations… Royal Ballet & Opera! Following on from some of the Create Dance CPD we have also run (you do not have to have attended the CPD to come along!).
Teams: You may bring a maximum of 1 full class of 36 max. You may bring any number below that. We’d love to get as many ‘schools’ there as possible. Please just ensure you let us know when booking approximately how many you’re intending on bringing. Please note; There will obviously be loud music and lots of people.
Aim: This is a fun based event and we will be asking pupils to display School Games values of Determination and Passion. Your groups learn different dance moves and routines with dancers from the Royal Ballet & Opera. There is no overall winner.
Requirements: Please wear clothing and shoes suitable for activity and dance, and bring a drink.
Where: Lancaster University Sports Centre, Bailrigg.
Parking: Coaches can drop off at the side of the sports centre and park on the hashed areas on that side road- please let us know how you plan to travel up prior. See the map below. There is also additional overflow car parking at the side of the sports centre- 2 hours of parking is free, if you arrive too early you may require £3 for the machine- we hope this is not the case.
