These county finals (& sportshall, dance and more) are funded by LHSSN, and similar models across Lancashire, we pay and run them for LHSSN members only.

For Lancaster based schools or South Lakes SSN schools. Top 1 school qualifies for Lancashire finals on 7th July at UCLAN.

There were issues with other courts in the area so we have moved to Our Lady’s.

I would like to invite your school to enter the LHSSN Lancaster High5 Netball/Bee Stingers at :

Our Lady’s Catholic College, LA1 2RX. Thursday 17^th June (Reserve date; 24^th June).

Lancaster Schools Netball Qualifier: 9.30 for 10.00-12.45 Year 5/6

Defending Champions- Bowerham (Please bring the trophy)

This is a competitive tournament that will act as a feeder for the Lancashire Games County Finals, and as such are now funded by LHSSN so open to SSN members only. The top placed School will represent Lancaster at the County finals on 7^th July at UCLAN, Preston.

Competition details are as follows:

Time- 9.30-12.45: Hopefully allow parents to drop off children (using the rear entrance only please!) and help with transport costs. Do not arrive before 9.15 as students and buses will be arriving.
If you are late you may forfeit your first match 2-0.
Date- 17^th June @ OLCC
7-9 players within a squad, consisting of a maximum of 3 boys, with maximum of 2 boys on the court at any one time. Though teams don’t have to contain any boys.
1 team per school. Though you may request a 2^nd and if there’s space after the deadline we’ll let you know. Please book on twice on the website to request 2 teams.
Schools are requested to bring their own High 5 bibs where possible to save time.
Venue- Our Lady’s Catholic College Netball Courts (Outdoor). Please bring suitable clothing and park/drop off/collect at the rear of the college (Lune Street). Parking is very limited, particularly at the front of school, so please use the rear of the sportshall next to Skerton Liberal Club; some of Lune Street’s parking is also 4 hours.
No spectators allowed. There is very limited space on the edges of the courts.
High 5 (Bee stingers) Rotation sheets will be used throughout, apart from any finals where schools can play their strongest team.
Officials will be from Our Lady’s Catholic College- please be respectful.
Formats will follow once we know the number of schools involved. Some knockout play may be required in later rounds so finish times may vary slightly.
Winners of the competitive event will go forward to represent Lancaster at the Lancashire County Finals at UCLAN.
