SSN: We are excited to again partner with The Royal Ballet to bring local teachers training and resources for a series of lessons based around creativity and dance! Lesson plans and resources such as those on the links below will be shared and innovative ways of getting pupils into creative arts and how best to implement the sessions into your schools!

Our big Dance session will also be on 10th December at Lancaster University

Create and Dance

Create & Dance (KS1&2) offers an inclusive approach to leading dance and storytelling that helps pupils develop creative collaboration, physical learning, spatial awareness and general health and well-being . It is designed for schools to embed into existing PE curricula, or can be applied for high quality active learning across other subjects.

RBO Schools Dance programme brings world‑class ballet into schools through free Teacher CPD, classroom resources and Live Dance Lessons – with no prior dance experience needed.

The programme helps teachers and pupils explore story, character and emotion through movement, inspired by iconic ballets such as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Nutcracker and Romeo & Juliet.

Through certified CPD and ready‑to‑use resources, teachers build confidence teaching the building blocks of dance, while pupils develop physical literacy, creativity and collaboration, with clear links to PE, literacy and the wider curriculum.

Dance Live Lessons connect classrooms with Royal Ballet dancers and artists, offering inclusive, highly participatory experiences with minimal setup.

Together, the programme supports creativity, wellbeing and engagement, delivering proven benefits for whole‑school improvement.
