PlayHers is an inclusive girls’ football programme powered by England Football and the Premier League, designed for primary school teachers to deliver with Key Stage 2 (7–11-year-olds) grow in confidence, build essential life skills and enjoy the game, no matter their experience or ability. PlayHers uses the power of football to support girls to develop self-belief, resilience, teamwork and social skills, and take pride in what they can achieve both on and off the pitch
PlayHers gives schools everything they need to run engaging extra-curricular sessions, including free teacher training, ready-to-use resources and, for training attendees, a kit and equipment pack.

Teacher Support
Whether you’re an experienced PE lead or new to delivering football, our training is designed specifically for primary school teachers and will give you everything you need to deliver PlayHers with confidence.
To help you deliver PlayHers with confidence, we offer free online teacher training delivered by expert tutors from the Youth Sport Trust.
During the live, interactive Zoom session, you will:
- explore how to deliver the PlayHers activities in a fun, inclusive and engaging way
- have opportunities to ask questions, share ideas and learn from other teachers
- receive practical strategies, resources and videos to support your delivery
Teachers who attend one of the training sessions will also receive a free kit and equipment pack, including footballs, cones and bibs.
