SSN Yr3&4 Girls Futsal (1 off)

Dear PE Co-ordinator

Get involved in a block of Futsal (indoor football) sessions, aimed at the year 3&4 girls, these are on October 17th, November 21st and 28th in the Sports hall at Lancaster and Morecambe College.

These are individual dates and schools may attend 1 or 2 of the 3 dates. PLEASE BOOK ON TO YOUR CHOSEN DATES. Each night will be treated as a ‘one off’ friendly tournament.
This will be officiated by our partners at LMC and will be held between 4.00 and 5.30 and is open to L&HSSN members only.

Teams of 5 will play with squads of up to 7 with rotating substitutes permitted. Games of 7 minutes are planned which allow us to accommodate the first 6 schools per week who wish to enter on a
first come first served basis.

Competition details are as follows:
● No spectators as they won’t fit in the hall.
● Team of 5 with up to 7 in a squad
● Dates: Thursdays, October 17th, November 21st and November 28th – you won’t attend all 3 weeks, but will be given fixtures per night, each will be treated as a separate event, once entries are finalised.
● Venue: LM College Sports hall
● Arrival from 3.50pm with first match kicking off around 4.00pm
● Drop off and pick up from LMC events is off Torrisholme Road at the rear of College.
● Finish time will be 5.15 to 5.30pm. Exact timings and format will be sent out to the competing schools straight after the deadline date.
● 1 Team permitted per school, you may request a second, but they’ll only be allowed if there is space & will be first come-first served. When enrolling add your second team then I will
confirm if you have it on deadline entry day.
● Schools should bring their own 1st Aid kits

● PLEASE MAKE SURE PARTICIPANTS WEAR SHIN PADS AND TRAINERS This is the
teacher’s responsibility to check.
● Please can staff/parents park at the back of College off Torrisholme Road and walk
your teams around to the Sports hall.
