At The University of Cumbria Sports hall, 1.00-3.15; 1-2 staff per school.
This practical based course is aimed at getting a better understanding of inclusive practices in the classroom and in PE environments. Looking specifically at Sensory Circuits. What they are, how they can help and adapted for use in school with resources common to most educational settings.
The course will also look at inclusion in PE. Looking specifically at multiskills games and activities that can be easily adapted to suit the needs of all children including SEND, children with limiting motor function and children who are neuro diverse.
The sesion will be delivered by Dan as well as Dave who will has Lancashire’s lead inclusion role and will give information on Youth Sport Trust’s Lead Inclusion School Programme.
It is for either SSN support staff or any other teachers in school. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing and drink. There is no need to join in the acvtivities if required.
