We would like to invite your school to our
Reception/yr 1 Gross & Fine Motorskills event
University of Cumbria Sports Complex
on Thursday 27th February 2025
We thank you for your continued support and feedback, we noted that you would like more events for younger pupils! So, in addition to our Christmas Multiskills, we have now booked in a Multiskills event focusing on Gross & Fine
Motorskills… and obviously getting the children active and having fun!
The event will be supported by University of Cumbria sports students with delivering a Reception & Year 1
multiskills event. Something a little different! This is purely a fun event with no overall winners but is a chance
to give new children a chance to represent your school, perhaps those that struggle sitting upright or holding a
pen, or even just have some active fun!
Mixed teams of 1-8 pupils from year R&1. 1 team per school. Please specify the numbers expected on your
booking. No minimum numbers/ratio of boys/girls.
Summary:
- Date: Thursday 27th February
- Arrival from 10.00 for 10.15 start until 12.15
- Venue- University of Cumbria Sports Complex, sportshall. Parking on site or on Wyresdale Road and
Williamson Park car park. - Pupils need trainers and appropriate clothing and a drink.
- Schools must bring their own first aid kits.
The deadline entry date is: Wednesday 12th February
