DESCRIPTION:Now Full \nHeysham area- \nWe would like to invite your school to enter the Heysham Year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics Qualifier competition at Lancaster and Morecambe College on Monday 26th January\, prompt arrival from 10.15 for 10.45 start and approx. 2.30 finish. For info; Lancaster Schools are 20th January. \nThe event will be delivered by the fantastic LMC staff and leaders who already organise the year 5 and 6 Sports hall Athletics League. School teams should consist of a minimum of 9 girls and 9 boys\, with a maximum of 15 girls and 15 boys being permitted. They may compete in a maximum of two track and two field events. \nThis event will act as a feeder for the Lancashire School Games County Finals\, meaning the highest placed Lancaster area school AND the highest placed Heysham area school will have the opportunity of representing our areas at the Level 3 County event which is on 18th March 2026 at Blackpool Stanley Park\, invites to follow to winning schools. \nBarry ‘Mr Sportshall’ Robson will again be leading on our local event as part of his work with us and your LHSSN memberships- thanks for your support. \n 5/6 Sportshall Athletics County Qualifier\n 26 th January 10.15 start-2.30pm – Deadline to enter is 11 th January.\n Parking and drop off/collection for all Lancaster and Morecambe College events MUST be accessed from the rear of the college off Torrisholme\nRoad- please inform any parents. Any minibuses that are staying MUST be booked in via Barry at least 1 week in advance.\n No spectators allowed.\n Team of 9-15 boys and 9-15 girls\n Choose team from years 5 and 6\n A team sheet is attached with this letter\, please fill in and bring with you on the day.\n Highest placed Lancaster area & Heysham area schools compete at the Lancashire County Finals 18th March.\nThe deadline entry date for this event is 11 th January.
