SUMMARY:ALL Boccia & Kurling (KS2) Competition
DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite your school to a Lancaster & Heysham SSN’s Boccia & Kurling Competition \nat University of Cumbria Sports Hall (off Wyresdale Road)\, on  \nTuesday 24th November\, 9.30-12.00 \n  \nSchools should select a team of 4-6 KS2 pupils who must be on the SEND register.  Schools may bring groups of up to 6 but only 4 will be playing at any one time.  We will have both Boccia and Kurling events one after the other depending on entries with Boccia first followed by Kurling- it will be a competitive event with the chance to progress on to county rounds and will be supported by UoC students. \n  \nSummary: \n  \nTeams: Teams of 4 but groups of up to 6 allowed- may be boys\, girls or mixed. Strictly only SEND Pupils from KS2. \n  \n24th November 9.30 start-12.00 (arrival from 9:15) \n  \n\nIndoors in the sportshall – access via the usual reception/sportshall).\nBoccia & Kurling competitions\nPlease email jamieson.sm@gmail.com if you have a boccia or kurling set that you could possibly bring along on the day.  We have some but could possibly use a couple more.\nDrop off & parking available on site or for buses there is space on Wyresdale Road & at Williamson Park car park.\nSchools should bring their own first aid kit.\nNo Spectators.\nPlease arrive on time. Any problems please let us know.\n1 team per primary school- if you’d like additional groups we will add them to a waiting list\, please book twice and we will confirm after the deadline. It should be a targeted group not full classes.\nWe have a limited numbers so first come first served- once it’s full we will close bookings.\n\n  \nThe deadline entry date is 13th November.  Primary schools please enter via the website – www.lhssn.co.uk – Any problems just let us know.  Secondary schools please email. \nWe look forward to hearing from you.
