DESCRIPTION:Whether it’s walking\, dancing\, playing football\, or even a family yoga session – it all counts! SUMMARY:Mixed District Cricket Qualifiers RESERVE DATE
DESCRIPTION:This is the booking for the reserve mixed cricket date previously scheduled for 9th June. Deadline 15/6 \n  \nLHSSN Schools enter free\, non SSN schools £35 per team. \nAt Westgate & Torrisholme CC. Full day of Dynamos cricket in partnership with LCB to qualify for the County Finals 8th July at Ormskirk CC. \nStaff will be required to umpire and use the ‘Countdown Cricket’ app as in previous years.  Please download the app to your phones prior.  We will have support available on the day for any staff that are unsure. \nDeadline 1st June. Full details are as follows on these links (please enusure staff accomplanying have the info\, some training will be given on the day): \n Primary Cricket Lanc & Heysham 2025: \nDynamos_Schools_2025_-_How_to_Play[1] \nSchool_Games_Cricket_Skill_Card[1] \nDear PE Co-ordinator\, \nYou are invited to a Cricket Competition and qualifier for the Lancashire finals.  The events will be delivered in partnership with Lauren from the LCB and Lancaster & Heysham SSN.  It will follow the new Dynamos cricket format and the rules are attached. \nWhere:  Westgate and Torrisholme Cricket Clubs (park at either venue) \nWhen: \n10th June- Year 5/6 Girls only (8 players\, squads of up to 10) \n9th June- Year 5/6 Mixed (6 boys\, 2 girls\, squads of up to 10) \n(Reserve dates currently scheduled for 18th & 19th June) \nBoth 9.15/30 arrival for a 10.00 start.  With an approximate finish time of 2.30. \nIt is free entry to SSN member schools but non-members will be invoiced for £35 per team as a contribution to venue\, staffing\, equipment\, and prizes.  Max of 2 teams per event per school\, a member of staff or adult volunteer is required per team to help umpire and will need a mobile phone.  Please enter via our website www.lhssn.co.uk\, once for 1 team\, twice for 2. \nIf you have any questions on the new format or would like to book some sessions in preparation\, please contact Lauren at:  lburrow@lancashirecricket.co.uk  Lauren will be leading the events on the day with support from LHSSN staff. \nSchools may bring their own equipment if they wish\, though we will have our equipment there for any that need that (Plastic bats only\, no wooden bats allowed).   No pads required.  Spikes are allowed. \nSchool staff will be asked to umpire their games so will need 1 per team.  We will provide some training and support at the start of the day and will try to pair up ‘inexperienced and experienced’ staff.  The rules are very similar to kwik cricket\, Scoring is really easy and everything is done for you via the Countdown Cricket app which you’ll need on the day (please download to staff/school phones prior):  https://apps.apple.com/in/app/countdown-cricket/id1505679707 \nWe have used it the last 2 years to great feedback! \nCounty Final Dates\, for your information\, should you be successful are:  Mixed –  8th July: Girls – 9th July: Both at Northern Cricket Club\, Elm Avenue\, Crosby\, Liverpool\, L23 2SX. \nMany Thanks\, \nSteven Jamieson & Tim Fletcher \n
