SUMMARY:SSN Girls Football Qualifier
DESCRIPTION:Dear PE Co-ordinator \nWe would like to invite your school to enter the Lancaster & Heysham Year 5/6 GIRLS County Qualifying Football Tournament. This event is scheduled at LM College’s 3G astro pitch\, on 23rd September. The event will kick off 11.15 and will finish approx. 3.30 dependant on entries. Please arrive from 10.30 so we can start on time. \nThis tournament will act as a feeder for a Lancashire County Finals\, meaning the top Heysham area school and top Lancaster area school compete at the Lancashire County Finals\, scheduled for 16th January 2026 at Fleetwood Town’s impressive training complex\, Poolefoot Farm. \n  \nCompetition details are as follows: \n\nNo spectators during College open times\nTeams of 7\, squads of up to 10 (Choose team from years 5 and 6 girls).\nDate: Tuesday 23rd September\nVenue: LM College 3G Astro pitch \nParking/drop off/collection at LMC is always at the rear of College from Torrisholme Road.\nArrival from 10.30 with first match kicking off at 11.15\nFinish time will depend on the number of entries but will be  3.30 Exact timings and format will be sent out to the competing schools straight after the deadline date\n1 Team permitted per school\, you may request a second\, but they’ll only be allowed if there is space & will be first come-first served. When enrolling book on twice to add your second team then we will confirm if you have it on deadline entry day. Please book on twice for 2 teams.\nTop Heysham area school and top Lancaster area school compete at the Lancashire Finals.\nSchools should bring their own 1st Aid kits\nPLEASE MAKE SURE PARTICIPANTS WEAR SHIN PADS & RUBBER STUDS/ASTRO TRAINERS. This is the teacher’s responsibility to check. No metal or plastic studs.\n\nPlease also note that from this season we will follow the FAs new guidance on heading and kick-ins rather than throw ins.  Your pupils will be playing this at club level for the last season so they will probably be absolutely familiar with the changes.
