SUMMARY:SSN Small Schools Football Qualifier
DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite your school to enter the Lancaster & Heysham Small Schools County Qualifying Football Tournament. This event is scheduled at LM College’s 3G astro pitch\, on Tuesday 22nd September. The first games will kick off 12.20pm and will finish approx. 2.30pm\, dependant on entries. Please arrive from 12.00 so we can brief everyone and start on time.  Hopefully holding it early will mean better weather but please bring appropriate clothing/umbrellas for between games if there is any bad weather. \nThis tournament will act as a feeder for a Lancashire County Finals\, meaning the top Heysham area school and top Lancaster area school compete at the Lancashire County Finals\, scheduled for 21st January 2027 at Fleetwood Town’s impressive training complex\, Poolefoot Farm. \n  \nCompetition details are as follows: \n\nStrictly for schools who have up to 100 pupils enrolled in all KS2 this year. Schools can only qualify from the ‘small’ OR ‘large’ schools events- not both.\nUpdated rules on no heading and kick-ins will be used (as pupils will play in club football).\nNo spectators during College open times\nTeams of 7\, squads of upto 10 (Year 4/5/6 boys &/or girls\, no minimum ratios).\nDate: Tuesday 22ndSeptember\nVenue: LM College 3G Astro pitch \nParking/drop off/collection at LMC is always at the rear of College from Torrisholme Road.\nArrival from 12.00 with first match kicking off at 12.20pm\nFinish time will depend on the number of entries but will be  2.30pm. Exact timings and format will be sent out to the competing schools soon after the deadline date.\n1 Team permitted per school\, you may request a second\, but they’ll only be allowed if there is space & will be first come-first served. When enrolling add your second team then I will confirm if you have it on deadline entry day.\nTop Heysham area school and top Lancaster area school compete at the Lancashire Finals.\nSchools should bring their own 1st Aid kits\nPLEASE MAKE SURE PARTICIPANTS WEAR SHIN PADS & RUBBER STUDS/ASTRO TRAINERS. Teacher’s must check. Please arrive from 10.15 so we can start on time. \nThis tournament will act as a feeder for a Lancashire County Finals\, meaning the top Heysham area school and top Lancaster area school compete at the Lancashire County Finals\, scheduled for 15th January 2027 at Fleetwood Town’s impressive training complex\, Poolefoot Farm. \n  \nCompetition details are as follows: \n\nNew FA rules/format- No heading\, kick ins instead of throw-ins (same as pupil’s will play in their club football)\nNo spectators during College open times\nTeams of 7\, squads of up to 10 (Choose team from years 5 and 6 girls).\nDate: Thursday 24th September\nVenue: LM College 3G Astro pitch \nParking/drop off/collection at LMC is always at the rear of College from Torrisholme Road.\nArrival from 10.15 with first match kicking off at 10.45\nFinish time will depend on the number of entries but will be  3.30 Exact timings and format will be sent out to the competing schools straight after the deadline date\n1 Team permitted per school\, you may request a second\, but they’ll only be allowed if there is space & will be first come-first served.
