Those SSN schools who have purchased the Lancashire PE scheme of work and app for 2019/20 or 2020/21 will be able to have a refresher/brief introduction on how to use the systems for your schools' PE.
Any new schools will need to ensure they have their log in details for the app itself prior. If you have not yet signed up please do so at least 5 days prior to the course.
Training is provided by Lancashire's PE Advisor and LHSSN.

This course focuses on curriculum mapping, teaching and learning through the APP and how to use the evidencing tools and individual children’s electronic portfolios, which can be used as evidence of the impact of the school's curriculum
Course Objectives
• To develop teachers confidence in using the Lancashire scheme of work through the APP.
• To explain how to create a long-term curriculum map and use and adapt the scheme and lesson progressions in the APP to teach PE skills and character education through the updated PE units.
• To explore how to measure the impact of the Lancashire PE scheme of work through the photo, videos and individual child e-portfolios, which can be used to demonstrate progress and evidence impact of a school's curriculum.
• To explore the additional add-ons to the APP including using the APP for competitions and events and linking these to the children’s e-portfolios.
