Kwik Cricket Competition for SSN Schools. Full details to follow- an invite wil be sent out soon and you'll be able to book on, just make a note iin diaries at this stage.
Arrival at Westgate & Torrisholme CC's from 9.30 for a 10.00 prompt start. Any rain issues will be communicated by 8.30am (or hopefully just pack sun cream!!!).
1 team per school, mixed (at least 2 girls in squad, 1 in the team at all times), teams of 8, squads of 10., pairs cricket. It's usually very popular so it's unlikley we can accomodate 2 teams but if you want an extra team please emaila nd we'll let you know after the deadline.
Traditionally each school should send a member of staff to umpire/score- this will be alongside another school's staff member so if you're unsure you won't be alone, it's straight forward! Each school to bring their own Kwik Cricket set, including stumps, minimum of 2 plastic bats, and plastic cricket balls- pupils may use their own 'All Stars' Cricket sets if they wish.
(Any problems supplying equipment please inform us prior- we obviously need enough for several wickets!).
Parking will be very limited with so many teams so please consider that when arranging travel/pick ups. There is lots of road based parking down the lane and around the Vale Rugby Club if required.
