SSN Schools only. A really well recieved course last year so we have run it again. It is a very costly course that sees 2x International level Athlete Mentors from Youth Sport Trust come to the University of Cumbria to train up to 5 pupils how to be peer Mental Health Champions, whilst simultaneously training teachers in how best to support their pupils, the kind of things to look for and ideas for your planning and implementing in your own schools. It's a massive issue those schools attending last year said it was the best thing they'd done!! As such it's very limitedn numbers so we can hopefully get as many schools as possible involved.
Arrival from 9.00 for 9.30am start-3.30pm.
4th March @ University of Cumbria Sports Complex, delivered by 2x Athletes from Youth Sport Trust.
Pupils and staff trained. Please bring packed lunches and be ready for some mild activity.
Doesn't have to be your PE lead- it would be a great option for a member of SLT, or the member of staff responsible for pupil wellbeing.
