The staff learned all about how acrobatic gymnastics is judged and how to effectively structure their sessions to maximise their time with the pupils and get their routines show-ready, alongside deep diving into some tricky skills and their coaching points. The girls rotated around 9 different stations inspired by classic Disney books/movies such as Toy Story, Frozen, The Incredibles and The Lion King. Each station began with the students from Lancaster and Morecambe College reading out a chapter from the England Football Learning activity books and then creating the scene into a fun-filled activity! Although there has been no running as of yet, Millie is off to a great start and is sure to start picking up the pace of her walks. So far she has started her challenge with evening dog walks, a trip to Nicky Nook and most recently Levens Deer Park (she went slightly off track and found herself in a sheep field!).
