Hockey safety guidance from Lancashire

Quicksticks Hockey Guidance:

It is recommended that children wear a gum shield and shin pads when playing hockey within the curriculum.

However, where hockey is played competitively then children MUST wear a gum shield and shin pads (ie School Games Quick Sticks competitions).
