SLYNE WITH HEST SWIM THE BEST

Congratulations to Slyne with Hest who won the first ever BLA SSCO Swimming Gala.  This event was for non club swimmers and was hosted in the newly re-furbished - Bay Leadership Academy Swimming Pool.

Swimming teams from WESTGATE, BOLTON LE SANDS, TRUMACAR & GROSVENOR PARK all did fantastically well, and created an awesome atmosphere.  It was Slyne with Hest that manged to take the gold medals, with Grosvenor Park and Bolton le Sands winning Silver and Bronze respectively.

Special mention to the Star Award winner from Westgate, who requested to swim two laps in the Relay because one of her team was injured and she wanted her team to compete.  Amazing attitude, and no one has deserved this award more.
