BLS Youngsters Show off their Multi-Skills

Congratulations to Bolton le Sands Year 1/2 team for winning last nights BLA SSCO Multi-Skills & Athletics competition.  BLS accumulated a massive 508 points as they took gold in one of the highly anticipated events of the year.  This event is held in high regard becasue for many participants it's the first time they get chance to represent their school at an actual competitive event.  It was great to see so many new faces, obviously enjoying themselves and having fun.

There were six schools involved, including:

• Great Wood
• Slyne with Hest
• Mossgate
• Westgate
• Overton
• Bolton le Sands

The event itself is a mixture of Multi-Skills activities and sportshall athletics events, designed to test all aspects of the students PE skills.  All competitors were fantastic, the event had a lovely atmosphere.

Special mention to Slyne with Hest (478 points) who managed second and Silver medals, and Overton St Helens (470 points) who managed third and Bronze medals. Thanks to all schools for getting involved.  Plus, the Star Award winner from Overton St Helens, she was amazing.

Thank you to Bay Leadership Academy for hosting and provinding their amazing Sports Leaders, who delivered another successful event.
