BLS & Skerton Sportshall Athletics Champions

Congratultions to Bolton le Sands who were victorious in last weeks Year 5/6 Primary Sportshall Athletics Heysham Area competition.  We had nine schools competing in this School Games County Qualifier, with the winner going forward to the Lancashire County finals as our area representative.

The event was hosted at Lancaster & Morecambe College and delivered by the amazing Barry Robson and his Sports Leaders, who do a fantastic job every year.  The standard was raised again this year, it was a very close scoring event with the top two schools separated by just 2 points.  Well done to all the schools that entered, your competitors were awesome:

It was Bolton le Sands who won this year, who will be fantastic Heysham representatives at the County event, when the go up against the best from the other 15 Lancashire boroughs in March.

Whilst in the Lancaster event Skerton St Lukes won through a very tight competition and will now represent Lancaster area schools.
