GROSVENOR PARK WIN TAG RUGBY

Congratulations to Grosvenor Park who managed to win the 2020 BLA SSCO Tag Rugby Competition last week.  The event had a massive 18 teams from 9 schools, all competing in a traditional, competitive tournament, which had over 200 participants.

Well done to the following schools who all took part:

The event itself started off with 4 groups of teams, all playing each other once.  The top two teams from each group qualified for the Quarter Final knockout stages.  The final was contested by Bolton le Sands Dragons and Grosvenor Park Falcons.  In a very close match, both teams giving it their all, it was Falcons who won 3-1.  Well done to BLS, who won Silver medals, they had a brilliant tournament.

Both Overton St Helens teams met each other in the 3rd/4th Playoff match, which was a fantastic acheivement.

Special mention to a Slyne with Hest student who won the STAR Award, for her Leadership skills.
