ST PETERS: BLA SSCO FOOTBALL CHAMPS

Congratulations to St Peters City who won the 2021-22 Bay Leadership Academy SSCO Year 3/4 Football Tournament this week, without conceding a goal.  We had 9 teams from 8 schools competing in a league format where everybody played everyone, on a blustery evening on BLA Astro pitch.

The top 2 teams were locked together going into the last round of fixtures with the tournament result coming down to the last game between St Peters and Slyne with Hest - winner take all.  It was St Peters who managed to win the game with a bullet header that crashed in off the bar from a weldd designed set piece, a fitting goal to win any tournament.

So, Slyne with Hest Argyle finished second, who managed to field two teams in this event, which is awesome considering the current climate.  BLS Rangers in third, based on their head to head result with Slyne.
