02/10/2025Yesterday we were joined by schools in our BLA and CSSCo programmes to compete in this year’s Aquathlon event held at Bay Leadership Academy. This event consisted of 3 lengths of the pool, then a quick change into a t-shirt and trainers to finish with a run on the athletics track.
The BLASSCo schools involved were:
- Bolon-le-Sands
- St Wilfrid’s- Halton
- Slyne-With-Hest
- St Peter’s
- Grosvenor Park
The CSSCo schools involved were:
- Warton Archbishop Hutton’s
- Holme
- Carnforth Community
- Arkholme
Congratulations to our BLASSCo winners St Peter’s and to our CSSCo winners Arkholme! All pupils showed excellent bravery, perseverance and determination! Thank you to all the schools that attended, to the teaching staff that came and supported their pupils, to the parents that helped motivate and cheer on all children, and finally to Make A Splash for providing the event’s lifeguards.
