Dear Colleague,

We would like to invite your school to a Lancaster & Heysham SSN

Handball Taster Festivals

I would like to invite your school to enter the LHSSN Year 5-6 Handball & mini competitions at Lancaster and Morecambe College on

Thursday 24th April- Girls only

Thursday 1^st May- Mixed (no ratio requirements)

Limited to 6-8 schools at each event. 1 team per school.

Arrival for 15.30 start and approx. 17.30 finish.

There will be an introductory practice for familiarisation with the sport prior to a competition.

The event will be delivered by Barry for LHSSN.

Teams can be up to 10 children with 7 being on court at any one time.
Rotating substitutions will be permitted throughout the tournament.
Each session will be an introduction and friendly competitions/festival style to allow more schools to be involved. Please enter 1 or both events. Each school should have a minimum of 3 matches per session.
24^th April 15.30 start 17.30 approx finish – Deadline to enter is Thursday April 2^nd (due to Easter)
1^st May 15.30 start 17.30 approx finish – Deadline to enter is Thursday April 2^nd
Parking and drop off/collection for all Lancaster and Morecambe College events MUST be accessed from the rear of the college off Torrisholme Road- please inform any parents.
Any minibuses that are staying MUST be booked in via Barry at least 1 week in advance.
No spectators allowed.
This is an LHSSN event- please can social media posts reflect that.
