BLS Year 1/2 BLA SSCO Athletics Champions

Congatulations to Bolton le Sands Primary school for beating seven other schools to win the BLA SSCO Year 1/2 Athletics event this week. 

This is a special event for Year 1/2 students, which in most cases is their first opportunity to represent their school at an event.  It is a mixed team format, where teams accumulate points by competing in field events (long jump, howler throw, speed bounce and target throw) and track events (relays, egg & spoon, sack race and obstacle).
