GROSVENOR PARK ARE DISTRICT CHAMPS!!

On Tuesday 26^th September, 14 schools from Heysham and Lancaster (and surrounding areas) gathered at Lancaster and Morecambe College to take part in the annual Girls’ Football County Qualifier for the honour of representing the district.

The quality of the football played was impressive; it was clear to see the impact the Lionesses have had over the girls. The standard of play was superb; playing out from the back, passing and moving, and shooting when the opportunity arose.

A big well done to all the girls’ and a shout out to:

4^th Place- Bolton- Le- Sands

3^rd Place- Bowerham

2^nd Place- Greatwood (representing Heysham at the County Competition)

1^st Place- Grosvenor Park (representing Lancaster at the County Competition)
