NETHER KELLET TAKE CARNFORTH GIRLS' GLORY
On Tuesday 10th October 5 teams from the Carnforth SSCO went to Bay Leadership Academy to compete in a Girls’ Football Event.
It was the first event of the year for the CSSCO and the first introduction to the LHSSN to Holme School who made a joint team with OLOL.
The event was played in great spirits with lots of good performances and all the girls’ performed exceptionally throughout and a shout out must be given to the OLOL who won ‘Star of the Day’ for the 2nd year in a row, chosen by the amazing leaders at BLA.
Nether Kellet were this year’s champions with a very impressive 4 wins from 4, scoring 20 and only conceding 1. Archbishop Hutton finished 2nd with 9 points and the joint team of OLOL and Holme taking home 3rd. A further well done to Christ Church and Carnforth Community who finished 4th and 5th respectively.
