ST PETERS TACKLE GOLD IN THE SSCO TAG RUGBY
Congratulations to St Peters who managed to win the Bay Leadership Academy SSCO Tag Rugby Competition, played out in beautiful February sunshine.
An amazing 18 teams enjoyed the sun and vied to be named champions. Bolton le Sands and Slyne with Hest brought 3 teams each, with around 60 participants between them, which is fantastic and shows a great way of maximising an opportunity.
Among the 18 teams was Morecambe Road School, who had a great day, and got progressively better throughout the the tournament, and their student won the coveted BLA SSCO Star Award. The pupil displayed some brilliant leadership qualities, helping his teams mates with his positive attitude and always played with a smile on his face.

Grosvenor Park managed to get Silver medals and Overton St Helens won the Bronze Medals in the Bronze Medal Triangular. Westgate and Trumacar are also highly commended for reaching the final stages, great effort.
