SLYNE SWIMMERS SUCCESSFUL

Congratulations to Slyne with Hest who managed to win gold medals at the BLA SSCO Swimming Gala this week.  Six teams from five schools competed at Heysham Swimming Pool for a swimming event targeting non club swimmers.  The atmosphere was amazing, with all school encouraging each other.

The event itself was a mixed event, with five boys and five girls making up the squads.  They all competed in various races including; back and front crawl, breast stroke and freestyle.  Participants accumulated points throughout the evening, with the team with the highest points winning the event. 

Well done also to the following schools who competed in the event, and were amazing:

• Bolton le Sand Blue
• Great Wood
• Trumacar
• Grosvenor Park

It was Slyne with Hest who managed to win the event, with BLS White in second (Silver medals) and Trumacar in third (Bronze medals).  Full results:
