SLYNE WITH HEST: BLA SSCO TAG RUGBY CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to Slyne with Hest Primary School, who remained unbeaten to win this years BLA SSCO Tag Rubgy tournament. On a chilly but fine evening at Bay Leadership Academy astro pitch, Slyne Giants managed to beat 7 other teams, in a league format to lift the trophy.
Great to see the following schools involved in the event, some bringing multiple teams, the players were fantastic:
- Great Wood
- Grosvenor Park x2
- Sandylands x2
- Mossgate
- Slyne with Hest x2
Well done to Grosvenor Park Saints who won Silver Medals and Sandylands Storm who won Bronze medals, Grosvenor winning with a better goal differece after the sides drew their match in the head to head,
Special mention to Slyne with Hest pupil whom won the Star Award - her attitude, leadership skills and general play were awesome.
The event ran well with the Bay Leadership Academy Sports Leaders delivering the event. The atmosphere was ace, we can't wait for the next one.
