NETHER KELLET: CARNFORTH SSCO Y5/6 CHAMPS

Congratulations to Nether Kellet who followed on from their Year 3/4 football tournament win, to take gold at the Year 5/6 event too.

Six schools including: Arkholme, Caton St Paul's, Christ Church, Nether Kellet, Archbishop Warton and Carnforth Community all competed in a league format at Bay Leadership Academy astro pitch, on a chilly evening.  It was a very close competition with the top 3 teams separated by just 3 points.  Any one of the 3 teams could have won going into the final set of fixtures.

All the schools were fantastic, but it was Nether Kellet who managed to win the Year 5/6 Trophy and gold medals.  Congratrulations to Caton St Paul's (Silver) and Christ Church (Bronze), great effort.

Special mention to the Nether Kellet pupil who won the Carnforth SSCO Star Award for displaying amazing leadership skills during the event.
